8 Makeup Tricks For Lazy Girls To Look Gorgeous

Are you one of those girls who just love to wear makeup and look seriously lit at all times but never have enough time to do it? Or perhaps when it comes to choosing between looking gorgeous and getting more sleep, you always prefer the latter. I mean, we get you. Sleep is important. More important than all things. Ok, most things. But it is important! And if one lives a couple of hours’ drive away from office, then how are you supposed to have enough time for anything, right?

If you are one of those, then you have come to the right place! We went looking for life hacks for makeup lovers and we have stumbled upon quite a few really simple, yet never-thought-of-before ideas that can make your makeup sessions not just a breeze, but absolutely mess-free and perfect as well!

1. Mascara

Unless you are an angel who has descended from the heavens with a Ph.D. in applying neat makeup, mascara is your enemy number one when it comes to flawless makeup. It’s just impossible to not get it on your eyelids while trying to achieve perfect those lashes, am I right? Well, not anymore! All you have to do is find a business card or an old debit card. If none of that is handy, just a piece of paper folded to that size is enough. Hold

the card/ paper behind your lashes (on top of your lids) while running the mascara brush against your lashes, and voilà! Mission neat-and-no-mess-mascara application accomplished!

2. False Lashes

These are a makeup appliers nightmare, especially if you have two left thumbs like yours truly. The biggest challenge is getting the glue to stick to it correctly. And also, the right amount. I mean, how does one tell? Is there a perfect amount of pressure one needs to apply to get the right amount of glue on the lashes? Is there a particular angle? Why does it have to be so complex!

But once you read the solution to this, you will actually keep wondering why you didn’t think of this before by yourself. Instead of applying the glue directly to the lashes from the tube, just use a bobby pin. Yes, that’s right – a bobby pin. That small, unassuming, never really visible accessory that we tend to ignore at most times. It’s true. It is really the small things that make all the difference!

3. Primer Vs. Concealer

We all know that primer is the base that makes the makeup that we apply last longer on our faces by preventing it from running due to sweat, etc. But what if we told you that even a concealer can help in achieving that? Believe it or not, along with primer, even the concealer can do wonders for your makeup, especially eye makeup. Use the primer as usual, before applying your eyeshadow. And once you are done, apply concealer on top. This not only keeps the eyeshadow from running but also enhances the color, making it brighter.

4. Cream Shadows

Yes, we know. There are some of us who will mess up even after we’ve gone through, memorized, and stuck to the precautions and tips mentioned above when it comes to eye makeup. But we’re good at keeping our promises. Which means that we have a solution for you! Instead of applying the normal eyeshadow, opt for the cream ones. This eliminates the need for using brushes as you can use your fingers to apply it on your lids. Just swipe your finger on the cream, and then on your eyes, and your smoky eyes are ready in a jiffy.

5. One Brush To Rule Them All

Once again, the bobby pin comes to the rescue. Just use one to convert your blusher brush into a contour brush. You see, our tips are pocket-friendly as well!

6. Use A Spoon

Every time you find it a challenge to keep the different eye colors from smudging/ running into each other, use a spoon. Yes, we’re serious. Place the spoon over your eye and apply away. You’re welcome!

7. Mascara Again

But this time, for the eyebrows. Yes, you read that right. For the eyebrows and not the lashes. Instead of using another product specifically for your eyebrows, just use the mascara. Yes, another pocket-friendly tip!

8. Remember, Start With The Eyes

This is probably the most important tip of all the tips here. Always start with the eyes and then proceed to apply makeup on every other part of your face. This makes sure that even if you do spill something (which is unlikely if you follow the above-mentioned tips), you won’t have a smudged face.
